Overview
Design concept created as part of a larger pitch to Skip the Dishes for their annual company trip. I was tasked with developing a website mock up with a registration. As well as swag and merch mock ups.

The initial design phase was brainstorm slogan lines within the team. I took some of the strongest ideas and developed designs using the skip the dishes logo as a template to build from.

Being a hybrid event print was used not only as branding but also for wayfinding across the whole venue. Mockups were created for better visualization for the final product.
Style Guide
A style guide was developed for the website before i began designing. I wanted to ensure unity while working across the different software and this was the best way to maintain the design system. The choice of typeface was a personal choice, as I felt it complimented the strikingly bold yet playful design of the "Skip the Dishes" logo. In addition the italicized fonts for the selected typeface lent itself perfectly to the slanted look of the logo.

I created a customizable Skier template that I used to populate an illustration of a Skiing resort. The idea was to use these elements as the background of the website, revealing more as you scroll. Making you journey from the top of the mountain all the way down to the chalets, to mimic what they might experience on the trip.

Alternative hero image
Created a 3D animation as an alternative look for the home page. Still wanted to stay within the realm of the original illustration but give it a more modern take by making it 3D.
